A set of 6 screenprints created in collaboration with John Fox, in response to a commission to Welfare State International from Lancaster Litfest 1988. At that time, John was artistic director of WSI. We chose to adopt an environmental theme.
Although we worked together, and both of us contributed to all six prints, three were primarily by me, with my words and images, inspired by the work of Kenneth Patchen.
And three prints were primarily by John Fox, with his words and images.
All the prints were displayed around Lancaster during the festival, and we ran a one-day print-making session in the foyer of Lancaster Museum.
